While, Google is working in a system-wide dark theme in Android Q, multiple apps are supporting dark theme with the time. In the couple of months, Google added dark theme in Google photos, Google notes as well as Google files and experimenting in Google Chrome too from long time. Meanwhile, dark theme is also available for some users on Goggle search, the discover feed,  Settings menu in the Goggle app.

Now, system wide dark theme is available for Google fit. In Google fit version 2.16 (stable version),  dark theme is available.

In this update, You can select manual light or dark theme in settings menu. If your device is on Android pie, then the theme can be set to turn on automatically every time, when the battery saver is turned on.
Google Fit's New Theme is slightly towards the gray end instead of being pitch-black, just like other Google apps. But the option should give you a decent taste of the dark theme if you’ve been wanting to try it out on your smartphone even without the Android Q Beta update.

To switch the dark theme on in Google Fit, install the latest version from the Google Play Store. Go to “Profile” screen and tap on the Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and this is where you’ll find the Theme option. Choose between Light, Dark, or the automatic option as per your choice.
